I wonder why the band waited so many years to really start jamming this tune out on a regular basis as they did in the nineties- great examples include 3/15/90, 3/24/90,
6/23/92, 7/18/90. Seems to me there could have been many more historic jams had they done so- with the absenceof Dark Star in the 80's, and with PITB limited to 15 min. tops, terrapin could have been the go-to song for long, interesting jamming. I guess the same thing could be said about jamming out of He's Gone- but they never did that with the regularity with which they treated terrapin in the nineties...thoughts?

Terrapin jam. It is featured on some box set. I think
So Many Roads, but not sure. Even northstar would agree.

yup.

i had really good seats for these shows so i decided to bring a camera and try to document some of the action. at about halfway through this terrapin outro jam i realized that i was just standing there watching the jam through the camera but not taking any pics. mesmerized!
